“It is true, my son died, but I want others to live, at least for me it is natural to donate his organs to save people.”

The “Times of Israel” website, on the Hebrew site “Walla”, quoted the statements of the martyr’s father, in which he expressed his respect for the lives of people, regardless of their religion or difference with him, and called on all people in the occupation state (Arabs and Jews) to adopt his point of view based on mutual respect. 

According to “Time of Israel”, the donation process was made from the body of “Kiwan” – early Thursday morning – after doctors at Rambam Hospital announced that he had died of his wounds.

According to the Israeli website, the donations were made as follows, as his heart was transferred to a 37-year-old woman in Sheba Hospital, his lung was saved by a 66-year-old woman in the same hospital, his liver was transferred to a 69-year-old man at Pilinson Hospital, and the family donated his kidneys to a 16-year-old teenager From her age and second to a 35-year-old woman.

A one-year-old infant’s liver lobe was removed and the operation was performed at Schneider Children’s Hospital.

The site indicated that the patients who were rescued included one Arab, the child, while confirming that the rest of the people were Jews.

The Chairman of the Joint List, Member of Knesset Ayman Odeh, commented on the family’s position on his Facebook page, saying: “The noble and lofty positions… the family of the martyr Muhammad Kiwan Mahamid donated his members. Several needy people benefited from them, most of them are Jews.”

He added, “Since I visited them at Rambam Hospital, I have touched belonging, dignity and deep patriotism. Do you know the sad person, but standing firmly and with a generous smile on his face ?! This is how his father Mahmoud (Abu Omar) was from the first day until today. Yesterday, with my word in Umm al-Fahm, I referred to this image of the father. That will accompany me as long as I live. ”

In turn, the director of the Human Rights Center in Haifa, Jaafar Farah, appreciated the family’s position and commented: “I got to know the family of the martyr Muhammad Mahamid Kiwan last Wednesday, and I was with them for the farewell hours in the hospital. Killers and those who cover them up. ”

Last Thursday, the city of Umm al-Fahm, in the 48 lands, witnessed the participation of large crowds in the funeral of the martyr Kiwan, who was martyred after he was shot in the head, fired by the Israeli police on May 12th.

His family held the responsibility for his assassination of the occupation police and all the accompanying agencies, and considered what these police carried out as part of the war crimes committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip, the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing that they will pursue the killers and will never tolerate until justice is achieved.
