“What is your name?

Eloah (Hebrew)?

Allah (the Arabic sound-alike)?

Or Jesus, the name above all names, or … ?”

“I am the God of Many Names. Call me TIME for short.

“Father TIME, can we talk?”

“I’m listening.”

“What’s happening? The world is under siege. Why?

“The church! The mission field is INSIDE the church (Revelation 2 and 3).”

“Inside, not outside, the church?”

“Behind the pulpit!”

“Behind the pulpit, your anointed ones”?

“No, not the anointed ones! The Holier-Than-Thou types, those who believe they’re greater than me; the ones who insist I should conform to their dogmas, like Lucifer who fell off his throne.”

“Who are they?”

“I know who they are. They’re clueless. They’re blindly enraptured in make-believe, following the one who veils darkness by shining like the Morning Star.”

“How does one discern good from evil; evil that looks better than good, disguised as righteous and noble, a Christian virtue … that, when unmasked, is anti-Christian?”

“Would help if they hear my Voice … walk toward humility … think! I have created humankind to think. What do they do? They robotically fall for deceptive sweet talk that entraps them into taking the easy way out. Worse, they take pride in listening to their own voices without discernment.”

“How do you discern?”

“For openers, use you head … THINK!

Second, seek my voice! Test my Word. I am the Alpha and the Omega (the beginning of the Greek alphabet and the end of the (Greek) alphabet and all the words in between).

I am the WORD. I am TIME. Listen!”

When Moses at the burning bush asks God, “Who are you?” God says to him three words: “Hayah asher hayah.” In Hebrew: “I will be who or how or where I will be,” meaning, “don’t think you can predict me. I am a God who is going to surprise you.

God is bigger than religion. The Bible is saying to us the whole time: Don’t think that God is as simple as you are. He’s in places you would never expect him to be. (Epilogue: Fast to Feast; Section: Krista Tippett with Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks; Page 146; Kindle Locations 2953-2959).

The hidden, yet spectacular, power of God is that it makes us grow and blossom where He has planted us. He invites us to be great in the little things.
