Be patient, sit still, and reflect. That’s the order of the day. Worse! Prepare to endure a long, hot summer and possibly a cold winter. And, it still might not be over. We still don’t understand what we don’t know.

Nonetheless, we are created in God’s image and are innately blessed with intelligence. Our global brain trust will come up with the cure, the vaccine, but it won’t happen tomorrow or the next day. The coronavirus isn’t alive. That’s why it’s so hard to kill.

So, let’s grant each other the sacrifice of space and time to help DELAY THE INEVITABLE! Many of us will get infected and will infect others. It’s a matter of time. Governments around the world are trying to keep the roads to the hospitals as congested-free as possible so that those who are most vulnerable will have access to our overcrowded medical delivery system, referred to America’s politicians as “the best healthcare system in the world.”

Social Distancing … to give health care professionals time to prepare for the worse

Let’s give each other 9 feet of space. We’ve got nothing else to give right now. Assume you’re carrying the Virus. Assume they’re carrying the Virus. Understand! We’re buying time, delaying the inevitable. If you’re going to get infected, you will. Murphy’s Law!

Right now, the people running our health care system are running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to fairly and equitably allot the means, methods, and mechanism to keep the most vulnerable of us alive if or when the Virus detonates like a nuclear blast, invisibly tearing the respiratory passages apart with bronchitis at best, pneumonia at worst and for some, cardiac arrest.

So, all systems go; without one, ready.

The Home Test Kit … like a measuring stick

Wouldn’t it be phenomenal if every person on earth could swab the lining of their mouths and nasal nostrils and apply the nasal fluids and saliva onto a strip of litmus paper? You could be infected, and therefore infect others, before you even feel any symptoms. If the litmus test turns blue, you’re safe; red, you’re infected. It’s like using a measuring stick. When you know you’re infected, you’d be more careful not to infect others. Next! While waiting for the vaccine try strengthening your immunity!
