Many of the 70 million American Evangelicals, together with their 600+ million followers worldwide remain entranced – intoxicated – , deifying Modern Israel’s Golden Calf, idolizing the Land. While waving the Banner of Holy Goodness, Evangelicals, today, are the power behind the Israeli throne, the gift that keeps on giving, the venom that aids and abets Israeli crimes against humanity, in God’s name. Almost 700 million adherents strong, Evangelicals around the world support Israel, a supra-national mirage presumed preserved exclusively and divinely, for all 15 million Jews alive today. The Good News? Among Christians, I’m seeing a change of heart, mind, and soul. It has happened in Europe. God is now working to bridle the pigheadedness on the other side of the Atlantic.
The Evangelical delusion that Jesus will restore a Jewish earthly kingdom and free the Jews from oppression (from whom?) while sitting on an earthly throne in Jerusalem is what my book, ‘Christian Zionism … Enraptured Around a Gold Calf’ is all about.
